Topic	Is Nier: Automata overrated, underrated or rated correctly?
dotsdfe 08/26/18 7:06:22 PM #24:	Very, very slightly overrated. The combat was just okay and is overshadowed by similar games that do it better (DMC/Bayonetta/etc). Obviously Nier is more of an RPG than those, but it still felt like playing an actiony game along those lines, but a little bit worse. The B-route was also a little forgettable until near the end when it picks up. Beyond those minor gripes, I loved the game, and didn't care about the fanservice in the least (as a gay male). The story, characters, and OST were all phenomenal, and some of the best in gaming. If the combat was a little bit better, I'd think it would have a legitimate claim to one of my favorite games of all time. --- Winner of the Third Hacked User Contest.
