They are. :) I'm pretty sure that transphobic people are the issue, and that their repeated attacks on trans people at every opportunity resulting in trans people being aware of the subtle attacks on us is a reasonable survival mechanism. Saying it's trans people's fault for finding something offensive is like saying it's black people's fault they find the n-word offensive when white people say it even though black people can say it.
