Its not like humans are social creatures. Well typically the people online are enemies and you dont chat too much with em. Being able to watch a live video feels much like a Skype call and gives much better pressence. Plus, in chat, you can discuss what the main player is doing with other viewers! Its like when 1 friend is playing street fighter online and the other 3 are on the couch messing around and watching.... much different than solo queue. Also, as previously stated, most top streamers are extremely skilled and a lot are actual pros with sponsors. You can learn A LOT.
