Wax paper straws existed long before plastic straws ever did.

And yet we switched to plastic for some reason. Kind of makes you think wax paper straws are inferior or something.

Polypropylene straw manufacturing is more cost-effective than coating a paper tube in wax. That's why.

If California wants to continuously make everything more expensive and drive out businesses and residents, then it's California's prerogative to do so.
