My store would sometimes have sales that coupons didn't work on. several times I'd have a customer come in. Lets say the item was $7.99. They'd ask if a coupon would work and when i said no they'd pass on it....then during a different sale the item is now $9.99 but you can use a 20% coupon, making it $7.99 now...they'd be super excited about that. making people think they're getting a deal is wild. --- "I devour urine just like my Portland Trailblazers, with piss poor defense." ...
