What a financial and emotional drain they are on people. Us on our parents, them on theirs. And back then I realized I wanted nothing to do with them. That opinion has not changed at all and I'm 36. If anything it's only gotten stronger. Kids are essentially a cancer on your life and finances. And I've never understood when people say. Yeah it's a soul crushing, life ending, back snapping, sprit breaking, never ending drian on your sanity and finances ensuring you'll never have a moment's peace for the rest of your life. But it's worth it. That bs is like trying to lie about there being some silver lining to losing your legs in a wood chipper. It's a life changing miserable event there's no way to ever recover from and your life is worse for it. But you don't have to worry about buying shoes anymore. Yeah.
