I guess every publication has to give some space to people like Alex Jones if we're gonna be realistic about what the right to a platform means.
The thing about YouTube is it originally was a site for anybody to host anything in it's inception.

A 'Public Forum for User Created Videos' effectively the same as a Town Square with a Public Common Area for all use and spread their words.

Now it wants to become a 'Publisher with Editorial Powers' to control the content on it's site after many years of killing off the competition and becoming the dominant player in Publically Hosted Videos with a "Paying Content Creators" model through profit sharing of Ad-Revenue.

Then after so many years into it's domination, it wants to change the business from "Public Forum" -> "Publisher with Editorial Control" while getting the legal protections / benefits of a "Public Forum".

It needs to PICK ONE, not try to benefit off of both legal type categories.

And the way it got to that point was really disingenuous since many content creators started when it was a place to publically host videos for free.
