If so where/what do they lead to? Is there a reason for these seemingly unreachable sets of stairs sort of being a staple in Pokemon games? Part of an e-Reader feature. Using that device, you'd be able to scan in special cards and battle trainers via Mystery Gift in the basement of those houses.
