Just by being a female streamer there are people whose insecurities she is "manipulating" for money.

It's not much different than your stream persona being nicer than you actually are, laughing at chat jokes you don't actually think are funny, etc. That doesn't really make you scummy.

It's not just because she's a female streamer. Isn't she one of the ones that wears slutty outfits, obviously for donation purposes? And then lies about not having a husband, and misleads her viewers into thinking she's available? Even openly admits that if she told everyone she had a husband they would probably lose interest.

That's fairly manipulative to me.

Not that I'm placing all of the blame for the situation on her. You are an idiot if you think sending a thousand dollars to a scantily dressed woman will make her interested in dating you.

Looked up this girl. She is quoted as saying

People dont donate to me because they think it improves their chances with me in some romantic way any more than do people donate to large male streamers because they fantasize about a romantic engagement with Soda, Lirik or Ninja, Amouranth told SyFy. That mentality is just a condescending meme perpetuated by viewers of other streams who want to feel better about themselves and their content preferences.

And then in that conversation linked at the top of the page she says:

"I do have a husband. But I'm obviously not gonna mention him because people get turned off by that idea. Do you know what I mean?"

So she's obviously full of shit. But I can't even really hate on her for that honestly. If I was a hot girl I'd totally be Twitch thot. Real talk. That's an awesome gig if you can get it.
