Try not to let it bother you. They're idiots and they don't know what they're talking about despite how convinced they may be that they do.
Same thing from the same types that argue about catholics worshiping false idols because we have saints.
You can't argue with stupid and it's exhausting to even try.

There's definitely a case against Catholicism being legitimate Christianity when coming from other Christians, but it is objectively a Christian sect from an outsider's perspective. Those are all arguments with a certain, narrower context.

However I find it ironic when Catholics are far more involved in the religion than many "Christians" who just follow the religion insofar as believing in God and the mythos and accepting Jesus and maybe knowing the gist of like Noah's ark.
