This isn't Germany in the 30's and 40's. They don't have the excuse of simply trying to blend in and get by like a good portion of the German population. They aren't using Nazi affiliation to try to benefit themselves. No. These are people who have looked at history, looked at human experimentation, genocide, murder, rape, and oppression and said "this is what I want, this is what I identify with, this is the badge I want to wear".
