As polarising as Principal and the Pauper was, at least they didn't do something as dumb as killing off the original character and then replacing him with a different character who becomes his doppelgnger anyway making it a completely pointless death. That was one of the few plotlines from the non-good portion of the series that I actually thought sounded kind of clever.
