We've created a sixth branch of the United States Armed Forces that won't do much until decades later, when the technology has gotten to the point where there's actually a need for it. Because of the idea that America should be first in everything and fuck all who disagree. It's wasteful spending and just a waste of resources that would be better spent elsewhere, like adding to the budget to fix the country's crumbling infrastructure, education, healthcare, etc. It's too bad the government doesn't want to be first in eradicating child poverty and having universal healthcare, better public education and infrastructure, etc... Failing to invest in the nation and its people will 100% cause it to fail at some point. It's unsustainable. Look at the USSR. Minus freedom of speech and property rights, it's not looking a whole hell of a lot different ideologically.
