| kirbymuncher 08/09/18 11:06:14 PM #207: | finished mai hime. it was quite good + manages to have a ton of characters without any of them feeling like throwaways + is serious and sometimes dark without being edgy which is something a lot of shows (especially newer ones) seem to struggle with + amazing soundtrack (of course) - pacing a bit weird. the show is divided into two distinct sections but I think the divide should have been sooner since the beginning feels stretched out and the second part feels squished - ending is weak and sorta steps on some of the ideas the show set up beforehand - potentially a lot more melodrama / love troubles / etc than you might be expecting from a magical girl battle show (this didn't bug me though) would recommend to pretty much anyone unless they either really hate mostly female main casts or don't want anything serious in their shows at all --- THIS IS WHAT I HATE A BOUT EVREY WEBSITE!! THERES SO MUCH PEOPLE READING AND POSTING STUIPED STUFF ... Copied to Clipboard! |
