The concept of abusive or neglectful husbands being showcased on a team was a bad idea in the 60s and an even worse idea now. Sure, I love to joke about how terrible Hank Pym is. We all do that from time to time. That's because the script was misunderstood by an artist and a physical assault was accidentally drawn into the panels of a comic. But to say, "Hey, let's glorify that concept by creating a team that features spousal abuse," just rings extremely hollow to me. It's a shame, too. This roster could be a theoretically good team. There is a good amount of history between characters here, and natural chemistry since none of them really step on each other's toes in terms of personality or abilities. I could give this title a real shot. But you had to get cute and it just comes off as abusive and mean. And I don't need abusive and mean as the entire theme of an ongoing comic series. Let's parade these people around and trumpet their darkest moments for comedic effect! It actually kind of shows that you think wife-beating is a joke. So now you all know something about Inviso. Membership Drive: Literally no mention of the guy who cheated on his wife while she was pregnant? Jim Gordon should definitely be involved in this group - hell, he was Batman for an entire year!
