| X-Pac_Heat 08/07/18 10:33:06 AM #20: | The only video games that could work as a movie are shitty walking simulators or games like Uncharted which are practically movies anyways. Otherwise, it doesn't work because there is such a huge difference in storytelling style between video games and movies. Video games tend to be long burns where the vast majority of the storytelling is told through the experience and the gameplay as much as the exposition. That isn't easy to transfer to movies, so a lot of short cuts and just making shit up happens that fans of the game do not like, and actual film fans find to show a low quality of filmmaking. --- ...
