It's basically a modern rewrite of the classic science fiction novel Little Fuzzy by H. Beam Piper. Before that I read The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupry, Harry Truman's Excellent Adventure: The True Story of a Great American Road Trip by Matthew Alego, Fearful Symmetries by S.
