Whether it applies on a large scale or not I couldn't say, but it's a logical possibility. Your initial point about wages for new employees isn't illogical, but it's just pretty easy to show why it doesn't matter all that much. I don't really get caught up on the hyperbole of commentary because everyone does that shit all the time and I'm not gonna change that.
