There really isn't anything cheap about the casing on it. There isn't too many equivalent ones, especially as far as laptops go.

Much of the hardware is proprietary so there isn't 'equivalent' hardware you can put together yourself. Like you definitely can put together a computer with similar hardware but you are not getting a similar experience. Plus, frankly, again we're talking about the average computer user, who by and large does not want to bother with that. They're not stupid and
