Edit: actually I change my mind after looking more into it.

She was constantly harassed and called racial slurs. She decided to "counter-revolutionary", as she puts it, by attacking them for being white. Unprofessional and she should have known better, but that's a far cry from racism that she's being accused of. I'm glad they kept her.

Eh, maybe it makes it a little more understandable why she'd act that way, but it doesn't excuse it or cancel it out. It just makes her just as bad as the people doing it to her.
