The whole soyboy phenomenon is perpetuated by a demographic even more doughy and pathetic than the manchildren in these photos. Bullying often stems from insecurity, so I wonder what all these poor guys obsessed with masculinity and an assumed decline in masculine culture are insecure about lol you could tell yourself that all you want. Smiling with a gaping open mouth is not masculine and a was a chick thing at first. Thats not the only thing these soyboy insulters focus on. No one normally adjusted IRL uses soyboy. This is the kind of stuff people without a sense of humor say when they're offended by jokes. Im not offended nor hurt by people using soyboy as an insult...lol its just sorta sad and cringey "Cringey" yea ok. Its clearly just makin fun of guys trying to be hip and cool. I don't think their not masculine, but its definitely trying to fit in and seem hip. Would you be embarrassed to insult someone as a soyboy at a bar? I sure as hell would be embarrassed.
