Liposuction is a stupid idea. You'll lose all that weight, then be tempted to gain it all back in five years. Don't do it - you need to change your habits instead.

Here are some tips:
Count calories. No need to keep a diary - just guesstimate!
Walk a LOT, but also do ball crunches, yoga, weight lifting, or something else that'll strengthen your core.
Portion control. Tell yourself you don't really need that fifth slice of pizza and keep it to four. Then, after a month or two, say you don't really need that fourth slice of pizza and keep it to three.

What I do is I try to limit myself to 1,000 calories two days a week while shooting for 2,500 four other days while not letting myself go above 3,000 the seventh. Those numbers will eventually be 800, 2,000, and 2,500, with one 3,000 calorie day a month.

I actually don't listen to music while I walk. I people watch. All you have to do is walk in a place where there are a lot of people around, but it isn't like a mob or place where people have zero mindfulness.
