I boxed myself into being a diy punk and had a large fan mohawk (often dyed many colors) that everyone always asked to touch. I hung out with other punks (my best friends) and most of the musicians in my school- went to concerts often and spent my time making my own clothes and expressing myself through art and music when I wasn't trying to learn new skateboarding tricks with friends. I considered myself a skater though I was never that great... Many people would ask to buy drugs from me, but I rarely had any and didn't deal drugs. My ego slowly grew as my senior year approached from all of the positive attention (from the opposite sex and otherwise).

I kept a positive vibe, so I don't think people thought of me as angsty if they'd ever interacted with me. I was just having fun, and as far as I know nobody really hated me or anything.
