They are likely outnumbered by the amount of men who bottle it up and then take it out on themselves, either directly with suicide or indirectly with high risk behaviors such as drug abuse or alcoholism.

The main reason toxic masculinity is viewed so poorly is that as a subject of feminist research, it is invariably viewed through the lens of how these problems affect women, as though the ways it hurts men are secondary, irrelevant, not the point.

Men have little empathy for feminist goals principally because feminist theory rarely embraces men as victims.
