You can just leave a dollar or two ya know, and as a single person thats all you would ever have to leave anyway. But it should still be proportionate to service recieved. Base pay doesnt encourage great service no matter what it is, but a chance for a healthy tip will do so easily. If im going out to eat, i dont want to be waited on by someone just trying to get a paycheck. I might not even tip someone thats like this. But someone that goes above and beyond?
