i don't really go to concerts in the genre often anymore but still enjoy the music for sure.

I'm actually not that familiar with them. I know the lead singer is very quirky and very straightedge (or at least he was when I met him. Was at a new years eve party and I was trying to convince him to have a drink and/or smoke weed. He gave me a weird grinning look, backed away slowly and kinda... ran off? The other guys were just like "yeah he's a character lol"). A handful of years ago, they put out a single that my other cousin (drummer's older brother) that I work with would play at work a lot. It was very catchy. Don't know what it was called though.

But yeah, drummer cousin is a character too. Last year, they were on tour. They were at an airport, either in or going to Denver. Cousin wanted to relax for the flight, so he had a few drinks, had a few edibles and took a Xanax or something. Passed out. The rest of the band couldn't find him and just got on the plane without him. He woke up all disoriented and the airport was almost empty. He had to take a flight 8 hours after the one he meant to.
