She got fired for going on a racist conspiracy theory rants. Gunns comments were very old and he got fired because people dug them up. Its very easy to argue that he is not the same person today. Disney had to know about Gunns tweets anyways. I mean when you are the face of family fun entertainment you have to vet employees of billion dollar franchises like that.
