I think it depends on what your life is like. Someone working at a 911 call center, for example, might need a lot of release, especially if they have other stressors like children or difficult relationships. in that case, it's a good way to keep yourself present.

Especially if you suffer from depression, it's not a bad way to really live in your feelings, too, because depression tends to be very deflating and causes some to feel little or nothing.

That person should look into getting a different job. Yes, crying is a good emotional release and all that but if you're in a situation where you end up crying every third day you should look into getting away from said situation. Being in very stressful situations so often will take a toll on your body whether you're crying regularly or not and crying might relieve some stress but it won't make your problems go away.
