To make you uncomfortable so maybe you'll think about it instead of ignoring the issue, and maybe even get off your ass and do something about it. Plus, they're also just straight up funny sometimes. There are some jokes that offend me, yeah. You know what I do? I move on with my life, wait for the next joke, and if the comedian overall tells jokes I'm not comfortable with, I don't watch more of their stuff.
