We're talking about millennials being uniquely disadvantaged.

Everyone is uniquely disadvantaged. Every generation faces different problems.

His point, said in passing, a point you're harking on for some odd reason, is that the problems millennials face are ones that should have remained solved.
For example, education/accreditation should, like every other product, be getting cheaper and more accessible. But it's not.
