Pets in general are overrated. My dislike of them comes from uncleanliness.

Dogs: Eats shit, puke, anything else disgusting it can touch and then rubs it's snot on you/furniture, licks you with its nasty tongue and smells awful all the time after growing out of puppyhood even if you wash them 4x a week. Rubs it's shitty asshole on your carpet or comforter if you like to sleep with them. People don't pick up their shit, which makes their yard disgusting, unholy minefields that makes the whole block smell. When it rains, if there's dogshit in the yard, holy fuck. Hair gets all over furniture, carpet, clothes, in wall trim, etc. Decreases home value by 60%. If you have more that 1 inside dog that's not some pussy tinydog like corgis or weenies, 80% chance you've given up on life and your personal hygiene, making you white ghetto trailer trash

Cats: Coughs up hairballs, leaves dead mice under the couch causing wretched smells, hair get all over furniture, carpet, in wall trim, decreases value of home by at least 40%, plays with you knowing it has shitty claws from burying it's turds or piss in a disgusting litter box. Your whole house will smell like a litter box. If you have more than 1 house cat you're probably white trash or become a disgusting person.
