I was always a big fan of Egyptian art and Greek art.. Europe had some nice pieces by Bosch, Gaugain, and others. Since it's Boston, the American wing had a ton of stuff from colonial work and the Revolution, along with 1800s artists. They had a Mark Rothko exhibit in the Contemporary wing for those of us who enjoy canvasses painted entirely in one color. Yeah, it was a good little day trip.
