My problem is they go into season 7 and go, "oh this character is gay now."
he never had a female love interest or shown any interest in the women he met so whats the big deal if they reveal he is gay? the only reason its been announced it because how many openly gay cartoon characters can anyone name?

Just because he didnt show interest does not mean someone is gay. Why wait 7 seasons. That is like if they waited 7 seasons to say Will was gay in Will & Grace. If he was meant to be gay it should have been like that from the begining. Seems like pandering to me.
It is pandering, hell, TC was virtue signaling in the beginning. Pandering/Virtue Signaling is hot, these days with all the Social Justice BS going on. ---
