On a related note, i understand that a director is critical to how good or bad a movie is...but does everyone really think another can't come in with the same cast and crew and make a watchable/enjoyable movie? there are a lot of good directors out there. The Cast is the same. the writers are the same. Nah people are suddenly pretending other directors under marvel haven't made good movies and it's all doom & gloom Other than Gunn, Whedon and maybe the Russo brothers with Winter Soldier, but meh, I can't think of any director in the MCU who feel like they're putting their personal touches on the movies rather than just following a template. Hell, Kenneth Branagh directed Thor and it was the most boring, most standard superhero movie despite it being Kenneth fucking Branagh.
