Oh I'm quite serious, you can draw a parallel without having to make it a direct 1:1 comparison. It's actually hilarious you'd say I'm not being serious when you're the one angry he got fired but also think it's acceptable he said those things.

There's no serious comparison possible between murdering and eating someone and making a rape joke. You'd have to be the most absurd of extremists to believe that. One step beneath ISIS.

If you were a real person, that is.

What you said earlier in the quote block is that I am offended by rape jokes. Go back and read what you said. It implied I don't get the humor.

Doesn't imply that at all, but keep living in your psychosis where nobody except you can be right about things you don't know.

And that's a bull shit excuse. They knew some of what he had said before was offensive but here's the thing, they still could punish him for what they knew upon further inspection. And the fact that it came up AND generated backlash for Disney AND showed that they had hired a person they would never have had they known the extent of his offensive nature? Fuck him, he deserves to be dropped as he never deserved to be hired.

Nope. They hired him and now they're firing him not because of something he did that they thought he should be fired for, but because a twitter mob unearthed old as shit comments and called for his execution.

Now then it says via google that guardians 1 released in 2014, but teasers and filming would have started by late 2012, meaning he was on board by then. That's a fuck of a lot different than "stuff from a decade ago" with respect to that point in time. It would have been 5 years and much more recent. What's your limit, what's too long to hold somebody accountable for their actions? 1 year? 3? 5?

So what you're saying is that he made offensive comments during the hiring process in which Disney was scrutinizing him and saw no issues until 6 years later?
