the 1/3 independent support is what truly astounds me
that republicans are generally either morons or single-issue voters (ie libertarians) willing to make a deal with the idiot devil to achieve their policy goals is no surprise to me
2016 was not an easy election for conservatives. You either had to side with someone who would advance your causes but was a dangerously unqualified idiot....or side with a qualified, competent politician who would most likely make numerous choices you disagreed with.
Thankfully I live in Chicago, so my vote doesn't count for a damn thing.
