gunplagirl is just using the basic modern propaganda technique of dismissing any actual or valid criticisms by taking one comment, right or wrong, and making the whole topic a debate about that particular, unrelated issue. It works because the egos of the people arguing (understandably) won't allow them to stop arguing with the blatant troll who keeps making more and more ridiculous claims in order to engage them further, until they give up and the troll can show everyone else how their argument is legitamite and the other side just has to give up.

The topic is not about homophobia, it is about Trump's blatant treasonous apathetic attitude towards Putin's cavalier and flippant implications of meddling. Don't get distracted by ridiculous troll nitpicking. That's exactly what troll factories have been doing for the last decade, and exactly why we are all in this situation in the first place.
