Apparently on her first date with her current boyfriend, they went to a bar and she was hit on by several lesbians... and when her maternal grandmother first saw her first short haircut (her father is married to my mother, so I'm not very familiar with her maternal relatives), her reaction was a snicker and "what's your name? Bill?" I've always teased my younger siblings so I laughed my ass off when she told that story.
