If you didn't mean anything by it then you shouldn't have brought it up in the first place as common sense should tell you it has no bearing on this story whatsoever. Claiming there is not enough information (When the information presented indicates the principal holding a grudge no less) and putting forth a ridiculous "What if he's a rapist" is an extremely bad look


Fair enough. In my defense, though, I made it pretty clear that my question wasn't in any way accusatory or implying anything wrong with the valedictorian.

But I totally get what you're saying, and I'm sorry if that line of questioning was not appropriate at the time.

I just would appreciate a little slack. It's clear that I wasn't really trying to directly criticize the valedictorian or even the administration.
