Looks like Congress might be taking some form of action (be it just a declaration condemning Russia's actions or more sanctions), both sides are floating ideas around. I can't imagine the Republicans actually doing anything but if they take a real stance that would be awesome. Nah a ton of Republicans are pissed about this, too. Literally no one in their right mind thinks this was a good thing. The only person that is publicized as having supported him is Rand Paul, whose father, Ron Paul, was the single "no" vote on a bill to ban the use of lead / lead paints in toys... Kind of says what kind of idiots those people are. I know they're pissed but harsh words vs actually doing something is a pretty big gap. Ron Paul is a treasure and Rand is one of the better people in right now. His defense was more along the lines it's good that we try and talk to people we have hostile relations with and try and bring about peace. I would agree but this wasn't diplomacy. This wasn't saying what you did was wrong but we want to get past this.
