The Obama Biden jokes (the "we wouldn't even be allowed to buy pizza in Indiana" joke in particular) were ones done tongue in cheek, they were self deprecating of their friendship, acknowledged the homophobic boundaries that many Americans have regarding how close two men can be as friends, and was done with a sense of inclusion because they actually support LGBT people and LGBT rights.

I don't think the message of the cartoon is about them being homophobic leaders though, even though it is valid that they are. They're in bed together. If the cartoon had them spoon in bed to illustrate that instead of them kissing, I'd gather that you'd have the same response, but I still think it misses the point.

Your conclusion would be valid if the premise was case, but I don't agree with the premise. And.. I mean, what is being made fun of is a much more serious issue than the Obama-Biden memes. Everybody is getting fucked, not just the LGBT community and I don't think that cartoon was making any attempt at taking a jab at that community.

See my last post. And sure, everybody is being fucked. But especially lgbt people and of them, trans people in particular seeing as trump tried several times to ban them from military service plus all the repealing of Obama era guidelines, having devos refuse to actually enforce judge rulings that protect trans students, etc.
