Do you agree with me that people who think in those terms have minimal business holding political power/running a country? Because to me, that mindset seems like a real easy way to run things into the ground, regardless of actual views and policy positions.

I think there is value in promoting those who hold right wing views that don't think of everything in terms of partisan warfare because ultimately our country cant be good unless both parties are reasonable options for running the country. Ultimately that's not the case right now but the Rs only really tipped super hard this direction in 2010, though its been an undercurrent since Reagan.

This is why I find red sox and SephG to be utterly reprehensible as they only think in terms of the game.

But like I'd with 0 thought involved vote for Tom Bombadil.
