A lot of people helped me out when I was switching careers and doing something to get closer to my dream job, which got me way further than just shooting resumes blindly into a void. But you know, some people are just not good at that kind of stuff. They might be really good at the job but never got hired because they're awkward. That doesn't sound very fair to me. I also worked with a lot of people who are good at talking. All they do is talk. And then they're absolute shit at the job but their bosses like em and never blame them. Then people around them just take the burden instead, while any lag behind gets attributed to the wrong people.
