But they all share the main ingredients: cheesy dialogue, gory deaths, graphic nudity, and a nebulous mystery behind Jason and his mom. The reboot has all of that. Exactly, the suspense is the mystery behind Jason and his mom and why is Jason killing people. That is why there are sequels because the events are being told in chronological order.
