Best smartphone camera ever is the Huawei P20 Pro, if that's your biggest deciding factor in shopping for a new phone. I'm a Note 8 owner and I'm pretty satisfied with my phone. I jumped in on it for pre-order specials that pretty much make this one only a little over $300 at the end of the 2 year payments I'm locked into. The battery could definitely be bigger, but I've been pretty shitty on battery management these days. Still a solid powerhouse. You can always grab a ported Pixel 2 camera app from XDA to reproduce the Google camera software qualities for your future Samsung phone.
