I'd say it's a bad example of the left eating itself, but it IS an example of the left working against their own self-interest. ScarJo has a ton of star power and her inclusion would have brought significant attention to a movie that wouldn't likely have gotten much otherwise. The result would be a bigger turnout and more people having this issue brought to their attention.
