Kelvin starts at zero, specifically absolute zero, because that's how you should measure it.

My question stands, isn't it literally Celsius in terms of scale, just shifted so 0 is absolute 0?

Yep, jutst like 120 F but you seem to stop before that because it makes it look better in your head.

Well are we talking about survivability? Because one can survive below 0. I think my thoughts about intuitiveness are still valid.
