Prequels are....pretty all over the place but its not really bad writing for Anakin to flip flop here. Anakin hated Dooku for his previous loss and injury to him and for hurting Obi-Wan plus he was the leader of the enemy army and he was encouraged by Sheev to do it. Meanwhile Sheev was someone he had started to like and look up to.
