The dumbass used an offensive slur at work on a conference call and word got out about it. The word is still offensive and not at all appropriate to use in the workplace even in the context of a joke.

I don't think he was using it as a joke. According to the article, he was using it to "convey his distaste for racism". I'm not saying it was ok, but I also don't think he meant to offend. But I also don't know what was going on in his head, so...


It sounds like he was bitching that Col. Sanders got to say it and he doesn't.

That's also another way of looking at it.
