Uh, like you got put on a shortlist, or is that just a confirmation basically that they received your application? That sounds weird the way you worded it. I thought having the hiring manager review the application was like the first step (well, I know for a lot of bigger companies it's automated to start, but they like to make it sound like a person is looking at it)
